EagleShare Privacy Policy

The following is the EagleShare privacy policy. EagleShare is affiliated with EagleShare, Inc. and Eagle Travel Systems, Inc. EagleShare is a marketplace that connects owners and renters of motorcycles. The purpose of our marketplace is to share the information you provide as an interested renter with the specific third-party owners you identify.

We at EagleShare recognize the importance of protecting your personally identifiable information ("PII") that you provide to EagleShare. This Privacy Policy sets forth our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your PII both through our online and offline operations. This Privacy Policy also explains how you can correct or change your PII or opt-out of receiving certain marketing materials.

EagleShare strives to better serve you by keeping you informed of promotions, products, and services, while, at the same time, safeguarding your PII. Our intent is to bring you offers and discounts that we believe are relevant to your interests offered by and through EagleShare and EagleShare's affiliates and other non-affiliated companies with whom we have business relationships.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into, and part of, the Terms and Conditions, which govern EagleShare's website at www.eaglerider.com (which will be referred to as the "Site" for the remainder of this policy).

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this statement, you should contact EagleShare by email at privacy@eaglerider.com.

We need to collect certain information about you, whether you are a renter or an owner. For example, if you are an owner of a motorcycle, you must have an account with us in order to list a vehicle for rent. When you choose to share the information with us, we display this information to potential renters.

Creating an account is not required to search on the marketplace, check the prices of different vehicles, or explore vehicle details. If you choose to receive our newsletters or engage in other marketplace activities, you must create an account and provide personal information. The service that you chose will determine what information we collect from you. This information may include, but not be limited to:

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Home and/or Business Address
  • Telephone Numbers at which we can contact you
  • Your Date of Birth
  • Method of Payments (credit card and expiration date)
  • Driver’s License and Province/Country of Issuance
  • Vehicle details, such as Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
  • Identity verification information

How we collect this information will depend on how you use our services. We may collect this information directly from you by telephone, email, upon completion of an application or enrollment form, or through your use of our Service or the Internet. We may also collect information about your use of our Site, transactional and account information, e-mail, and other information related to communications to our Site. We may also collect information about you indirectly through a travel wholesaler, aggregator, tour operator, travel agent, an account program in which you or your employer participates, or through one of our partner programs when you deal with us through those means. Additionally, our franchisees, affiliates, and third parties may provide us with information about you.

You may choose not to provide some of your PII to us, but this may prevent us from providing our services to you, or limit our ability to provide you with the level of service that you would otherwise expect from us.

We strive to ensure a stress-free rental experience and are dedicated to building a rewarding and lasting relationship with every customer. In order to provide the level of service we believe you expect from us, we may use your PII for the following purposes:

To provide the services and operate the services;

To do all things necessary to administer those services;

To provide customer support;

To research, develop, manage, protect and improve our Site and services;

To maintain and develop our service-oriented software and other business systems;

To make your experience with our service smoother and faster

To analyze data, or to have a third party do so on our behalf.

We may also use your PII such as your email address for other purposes. For example, such information may be used to process and track your transactions and to send you information about us, our affiliates, business partners' products and services, and other information that may be of interest to you. If you use our Site, information may also be used to evaluate what portions of our Site are visited more often than others, determine where visitors came from, where they go, and how long they stay on a particular page, or on our Site in general.

We may match information collected from you through different means or at different times, including, for example, information collected online and offline, and use such information along with information obtained from other sources, including third parties. To do this, it is often necessary to share this information with carefully selected vendors and business partners we work with, such as companies that manage accounts, offer affinity, frequent-user, and reward programs, and companies that perform marketing services, companies that provide insurance service, and other business operations for us. See below under Disclosing.

Your public listing page on the Services will always include some basic information, such as your name associated with your account, your public profile photo, and for owners, the city where your vehicle is located, your listing description, your calendar availability, transaction-related information to allow our community to evaluate your reliability and responsiveness, and reviews or feedback about you. Your public listing page may also include information about your cancellations and the approximate geographic pick-up location of your vehicle.

The Service allows your public profile and public listing pages to be included in search engines, in which case your public profile and public listing pages may be indexed by search engines and may be published as search results.

EagleShare enables vehicle owners to offer and share their vehicles with other individuals. If you agree to a booking through our Services, we may provide your information to the other party in that transaction as reasonably necessary to facilitate the transaction. For example, EagleShare may provide your mobile phone number to facilitate communication, your driver's license information to confirm license validity or your photograph for identification. We will also share the address of the vehicle and, if applicable, the proposed delivery location with the other party.

We may share information with vendors and service providers who support the operation of our Services and business and who need access to such information to carry out their work for us (including, for example, web hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery, marketing, insurance, claims administration, and customer support services). In some cases, the service provider may directly collect the information from you on our behalf. These service providers may use your personal information only as directed or authorized by us.

We may also disclose your PII to affiliated and non-affiliated organizations including, for example:
To your company or organization if you use our services under a corporate or another commercial account;
To rental vehicle manufacturers;
To your credit card issuer;
To credit reporting and fraud-checking agencies;
To debt collection agencies, if you fail to pay monies owed to us;
To government or private organizations responsible for the processing or handling of traffic or parking related violations;
To driver licensing authorities, directly or through intermediary organizations, when needed to verify compliance with EagleShare’ safe driver criteria for qualified drivers and/or to verify license information;

To the government, regulatory, and law enforcement agencies where the disclosure is required or authorized by law, and otherwise as we believe is necessary or appropriate to satisfy any law, regulation, or other governmental requests, to operate our Site properly, or to protect or defend our rights or the rights or well-being of our employees, users or others or if you are involved (or are suspected by governmental authorities or our security functions to be involved) in any illegal activity, even without a subpoena, warrant or court order.

We may also share your information with other non-affiliated third parties, such as entities that provide services for or through our Site or for our business (e.g., advertisers, ad servers, content providers, services providers, credit card processors, fulfillment services providers, e-mail list Ownering companies and distribution companies) that use such information on our behalf consistent with this Privacy Policy. These types of third parties are not permitted to use your information for any secondary purposes.

We may also transfer or assign your information to third parties as a result of or in connection with a sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of assets, reorganization, or liquidation. For more information see our sections below on changes in the use of your PII.

Analytics is the process of tracking Internet Protocol addresses to determine page views, search engine optimization (the process of improving rankings in search engine results), and responses to key AdWords selected by us. Like many companies, we offer tools for user tracking on our website. As part of this process, a piece of Javascript is rendered on every page of our website and when an end-user such as yourself loads that page on their browser, you will automatically send a request to the provider of the snippet(s), which could allow the said provider to identify your Internet Protocol address. We currently use Google as such providers, however, in the future may use additional providers. If you want to opt-out of Google Analytics, please follow the procedures described at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245

Our Site may contain links or references to other web sites outside of our control, and the privacy policies of these sites may differ from our own. We advise you to check the privacy policies of such sites before disclosing any PII via such sites.

Occasionally when linking to another site from eaglerider.com, you may still see EagleShare's logo or an eaglerider.com frame. The reason for this is, to provide you with a seamless experience when visiting our website. In these cases, you are no longer on eaglerider.com but will now be on a different website, not owned or controlled by EagleShare and therefore the information collection practices of the third party's site may differ from EagleShare's. The privacy policy of a third-party site will govern how information collected from you is used by the owner of the site. You can always know what site you are on by checking the location bar within your browser.

The security of your PII is an important concern to us.
